Final Reflection

After doing this project for 20 days, I can definitely say it was a good experience. As the days progressed, it quickly became more difficult to find something to take a picture of, and I found myself having to be more creative. I realized that everything I posted a picture of didn't necessarily have to be extremely important, because I could be grateful for the little things too, such as a pretty sunset or my favorite tea. Honestly, this project showed me that sometimes it's the small things in life that are the most important to appreciate, because the more grateful you are, the happier you will be with your life; this was a very valuable thing to be learned. Throughout the course of the last month, I became more aware of all I had around me to be appreciative of, and it gradually became easier to take a photo throughout the day.
I would recommend this project to other students because I truly believe it will challenge them to bring out their inner creativity, while teaching them to be thankful. If I were to do another blog on something other than being grateful, I'd like to do one with pictures of something that makes me smile each day.

Day 19

I know many people don't have clean drinking water, so I really appreciate it.

Day 18

I drink tea almost everyday, and Bigelow green tea is definitely my favorite.
Iced, it is so refreshing on a hot summer day. And hot, it is perfect to sip in the winter while watching movies, wrapped in blankets.

Day 17

My laptop has many uses and I'm so thankful for it! I use it to do homework, to edit pictures, to talk to friends, and to watch movies.

Week 3 Reflection

I've continued to enjoy the conscious thought I must put into my photos based on what I appreciate. Posting a picture has become less of a homework assignment, and more of a simple routine throughout the day. With the project coming to an end, I can definitely say I'm happy to have participated in it.

Day 16

I love my Klean Kanteens! It's great to drink water out of a BPA-free metal bottle, plus the insulated bottles keep water icy cold- perfect for summer.
